Information about Reserving
Here at Castello di Sinio, we have created a sense of privacy & an atmosphere of tranquilty. It is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the unhurried pace of an extremely beautiful area that is still undiscovered. The village of Sinio is quiet & we try to be discreet with the comings & goings so as to not disturb the peacefulness & sense of calm that prevades the hotel & grounds. It is a place to be enjoyed for multiple days, a retreat from the hustle & bustle.
Likewise, we understand that your room is your home away from home and we've done as much as possible to make it feel that way. All of our rooms, regardless of level, are full of character,comfort,elegance and modern conveniences. All have in-room controlled heating & air-conditioning, extra large beds with double mattresses, down comforters, sitting area, satelite flat screen TV with various language channels, free WIFI access, private bathrooms with modern showers, glass enclosed shower stalls, great water pressure, plenty of hot water, professional hand-held & wallmounted hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, towel warmers and electrical outlet by the mirrors.
We have maintained the architectural integrity of this 900 year old castle, so many of the rooms have windows facing in to the courtyard garden, as was the tipical design during the medieval period. Many of the rooms have original ceilings & timbers and all have the original hand made terracotta tile floors. All of the pictures of the rooms on this page were taken with natural light only, to give you as accurate a perspective as possible.
Suites – Romantic and Stylish, Fit for Royalty!

Our two large suites are comprised of separate sleeping room with king bed and living areas with Sofa & Overstuffed chairs. One of the suites is the original chapel of the castle, is all stone and has a graceful arch leading to the bedroom as well as an enclosed tub in the bathroom. The other large suite boasts soaring timber ceilings with an upstairs loft that has lovely views, 2 twin beds & a WIFI work desk while downstairs has a kingbed & sitting area with sofa & chairs. The Loft Suite sleeps 4 comfortably and the en suite bathroom is equipped with a shower and large vanity. The Chapel Suite is the only room with a bathtub.

Junior Suites - Elegance, Comfort & Wonderful Views!

Jr. suites apx. 35 Sq. Meters
All Junior Suites are large rooms with special amenities, have a comfortable sitting area with two overstuffed upholstered chairs and table, desk & chair and are decorated with valuable antiques and fine fabrics. All have extra large beds, some antique, some wrought iron. Each Jr. Suite is slightly different one from the other but all are spacious, beautiful and full of the magical atmosphere of the rest of the castle. Bathrooms are particulary well appointed, all with glass enclosed showers. The Jr. Suites have wonderful light, large windows and wonderful views.

Superior rooms are characteristic & comfortable, each a little different one from the other, all charming & lovely. All have en suite bathrooms that are well equipped with the same modern fixtures, glass enclosed shower, fine ameneties, linens and towels. Deluxe Double Rooms – Cozy & Comfortable

Our Deluxe rooms maintain the same characteristic atmosphere as the other rooms and while they are our smallest, they are still good sized by european standards. They also are decorated with antiques and large iron beds and have comfortably sized en suite bathrooms with modern fixtures and all the same fine amenties and linens.

 While we try our best to accommodate specific requests, we can not always guarantee specific room numbers. We reserve the right to give upgrades if necessary.

Third or fourth person in rooms that can accommodate them – 35€ to 45€ a person depending on room & season.
Sorry, but pets must remain at home.
Rates are per night, per room and include taxes. Our Gourmet Breakfast Buffet is 8 Euro per person per day and is all homemade & includes every fresh fruit that is available!

As this is a 12th century castle, all rooms are a bit different in size and configuration and the category names of rooms may vary a bit from those normally associated with standard type hotels.

To Reserve, Visa, MasterCard or American Express, plus working telephone number, are required as guarantee. Final payment will be settled directly upon departure.
Cancellation policy: In the event that you must cancel your reservation you must notify us by midnight 5 DAYS PRIOR to the date of your scheduled arrival to avoid penalty. DURING PEAK SEASON THE CANCELLATION POLICY IS 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and for stays of 4 days or more, the cancellation is 14 days prior. Cancellation must be in writing by email or fax. In case of late cancellation 100% of the reservation will be charged. EARLY DEPARTURE is treated as a cancellation. Therefore, EARLY DEPARTURE for any reason, will be charged the total nights of the original reservation. No Shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
GROUP PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & CHANGE POLICY: FOR GROUPS of 6 people or more or 3 rooms or more: Deposit of 20% is required at the time of reservation & 50% payment of total reservation is required 120 days prior. Any changes or cancellations must be in writing via email or fax. Cancellation or Changes in PEAK SEASON,in full or part, 180 days before date of arrival is 0% penalty, 179 to 150 days is 25% penalty, 149 to 120 days before arrival is 50% penalty, 119 to 60 days prior to arrival is 75%, 59 to less than 30 days prior to arrival is 100% penalty. No show or early departure for any reason will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
GROUP MID SEASON: Cancellation or Change in MID SEASON,in full or part, 120 days before date of arrival is 0% penalty, 119 to 90 days is 25% penalty, 89 to 60 days before arrival is 50% penalty, 59 to 30 days prior to arrival is 75%, less than 30 days prior to arrival is 100% penalty. No show or early departure for any reason will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT INFORMATION: Check-in time is 2:00 pm to no later than 7:45 pm please. Our reception is closed after 8:00 pm. We also request that you notify us of in advance of early arrival. Check-out time is from 7:30 to 11:00 am. Early Check-In during breakfast & Check-Out hours is not possible, and during these hours we accept luggage drop off at curbside only. Thank You!

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the bedrooms, bathrooms and all interior common areas. We invite you to smoke outdoors, but ask for your respect of those nearby who do not smoke.
