A RESTORED CASTLE IN THE BAROLO VINEYARDS
Staying in a castle hotel in Italy is a magical experience, especially when it is in the heart of one of the foremost wine and gastronomic areas in the world, the spectacularly beautiful Le Langhe in Piedmont. Le Langhe is to Italy what Bordeaux or Burgundy are to France. And we are at the epicenter of it - fine wine production, famous cuisine and home of the prized Alba white truffle. Le Langhe has become the most prestigious food and wine area in Italy and is a "must" destination for lovers of wine, food, beautiful scenery & medieval hilltowns.

We offer you the most ideal location at the very heart of the most interesting sights, wineries and restaurants, yet hidden away in a lush, tranquil setting.

MODERN AMENITIES
A castle is one thing but comfort is another! Staying with us is a true pleasure because not only has our castle been artfully restored to it's former glory as a medieval noble residence, but we have equipped it with luxurious amenities and modern systems to create a warm, comfortable atmoshphere. All rooms are stylish & characteristic, have fine damask curtains and bedspreads, linens and towels by Frette, and personal toiletries designed by Laura Tonnato. Beds are king size posturepedic, bathrooms have crystal shower stalls, beautiful stone tiles and completely modern fixtures. Rooms also have individually controlled central heating & air conditioning plus much, much more.

FRIENDLY ATTENTIVE SERVICE
We've become a little famous for our attention to details and taking care of our guests. It's really become our hallmark. We are independently owned and family run so we've been able to create a casual, friendly retreat of laid back luxury. We offer you a relaxing getaway of just 18 rooms, a small but excellent restaurant, a passion for the area combined with our inside knowledge and the benefit of our many local friendships. We have also tried to anticipate your needs by providing satellite flat screen TVs, direct dial telephones & WIFI throughout the hotel, grounds and in all the rooms so your stay is ultra convenient and hassle free. Come and stay with us and you will be greeted with the warmest of welcomes and made to feel like family.

HISTORY, ART & ANTIQUITIES
Built in 1142 by Marchese Del Carretto, Castello di Sinio is one of the oldest castles in Le Langhe--a district in Piedmont, Italy, that is full of historical residences, fortresses and castles. Ours is distinguished by being built completely from stone and massive chestnut timbers. You will feel the spirit of the early medieval period in every bedroom, salon and sitting area-- as we have preserved and reused all the original materials from walls to floors to ceiling. We have lovingly and tastefully decorated all the bedrooms and public areas using antique furniture, doors and pictures, many as old as 600 years!

We are an excellent small luxury hotel, with comforts & service you can trust. If you are looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway in Italy, with an excellent location close to Alba, Asti, Torino, France or Genova, we are an ideal choice. Let us sweep you away!

We have twice been independently rated the top hotel in the Alba area, the best area in all of Piemonte for wine tasting. Click on the following link and don't forget to click on our own Feedback link to read what everyone is raving about:

Sinio, Comune di Fiore - Village of Flowers

Hotel Castello di Sino sits atop the quiet and unspoiled medieval borgo, or village, of Sinio, very near to Alba and all the major Barolo and Barbaresco producing villages such as La Morra, Serralunga and Monforte D'Alba. Sinio is called the Village of Flowers and every window box and terrace throughout the village fairly drips with the color of seasonal flowers. In keeping with that tradition, you will find our courtyard, gardens, grounds and pool area, beautifully maintained and a profusion of flowers and color throughout the seasons.

In searching for the perfect Italian vacation, places to stay during the Alba Truffle fair, accommodations for the Bra cheese festival, SlowFood Salone del Gusto in Torino or rooms in Asti during their Palio di Asti, Hotel Castello di Sino is perfect. We are truly convenient to all these destinations but in a tranquil, scenic location free from the masses of tourists.

If you are looking for romantic getaways in Italy, secret places in Piedmont, a special vineyard hotel or an undiscovered jewel in Langa-- with accommodations close to dozens of interesting sites and excursions, Hotel Castello di Sino wins top honors. We are surrounded by fine restaurants in and near Alba and throughout Le Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Our nearby neighbors are top wineries, and interesting shopping and stimulating antiquities abound close by. We are completely at your disposal to help arrange any and all activities in Alba, Asti, Torino or anything that you desire in Piedmont (Piemonte).
